Saturday, November 8th
10:00 - 12:00 Delilah's Veil Class
Delilah's favorite part of the dance is veil work. Unfold the wings of your veil and come fly with her!
12:00pm - 1:00 Lunch break
1:00pm - 3:00pm Delilah's Fast Hips Vocabulary
A banquet of techniques, layering movements and combining patterns as we do with syllables in words and words in phrases.
3:30pm -5:30pm Uncle Mafufo's Drum Class #1
Strengthen your co ordination with the dance by learning to drum out the rhythms. A must for all dancers
5:30pm - 8:00pm Dinner Break

For dancers
2:00-4:00 pm Delilah's Absolute Beginning Belly Dance for Students and Teachers reviewing the structure of the dance that is behind all stylization; Tribal, Cabaret, Fusion, Modern Egyptian. We will look at proper alignment and variations , visualization, movement vocabulary and traveling, mapping the dance from the inside out. Setting realistic goals, strengthening, conditioning, what to avoid..
4:00pm - 6:00pm Uncle Mafufo's Drum Class #2
Strengthen your co ordination with the dance by learning to drum out the rhythms. A must for all dancers
6:30pm - 8:00pm Sulyman's Ney Class "Make a ney and Begin to Play"
In this class each student will make and take home a ney . They will learn to begin to breath into the instrument associated with the Mid Eastern music, belly dance and mystical Rumi poetry. You will not know how to play this instrument by the end of this class but you will begin a relationship with breath, Soul and and expression.
